I would check and see if you have some other food allergies that you are not aware of. Diseases like Celiacs (allergy to Gluten) can include dairy products. Diseases like Celiac disease can be in your system for years and not be active, then all of a sudden you are in the ER for no apparent reason. I would check for more food allergies, seasonings, gluten, etc...I would get a colonoscopy as well, sometimes there is damage done that you may not know about. If you are concerned, your vet should be too or at least do more to set your fears at ease. Also, don't wait 48 hrs like someone else suggested. If it is an infection and you wait that long without antibiotics, it could end up being fatal. I hope your baby gets well soon!

No one seems to know what's wrong with my knee...?

I've been a serious runner for about 5 years with 2 full marathons under my belt. So on March 10 I went out for a quick 6 mile tempo run. Towards the end my right knee started to wobble a bit and once I finished I could barely walk. The next day I could barely bend the knee without pain on an epic scale. Over the next few days it died down enough to where I though I could go for a quick 3 miles. I was barely able to finish it. The cycle of pain for 2 days then nothing continued and even on a treadmil I can barely get a mile in. The pain is right below the patella and only when I run. I've been to 2 Dr's, had 3 X-rays, and an MRI with no real answer. After the MRI (a week ago) I was told no running for 3 weeks then come back. It's been about 6 weeks and hasn't gotten any better after lots of stretching, swimming, rest, and anti-inflamatories. It's really frustrating and all I want to do is run. Anyone have advice or experience with this?

I ordered a Telescope off of Amazon.com please let me know if its a good one..?

On a rating of 1-5, I would give it a 2. The telescope looks like a half way decent reflector but the images thru the eyepiece all depend on how good the mirrors are in it. I have never heard of Galileo telescopes, so the optics could go either way. If the eyepieces are only a .965 diameter, as this size is usually unusable and I would send it back. 1.25 diameter is the normal size and you can order much more usable eyepieces. The mount does not look like it is that sturdy and that is the most desirable feature of it. Being a beginner, I would send it back, save another $100 and order the Starblast Astro Telescope from Orion Telescopes (www.telelscope.com). It'll be much easier to use and you'll be much happier with the views thru it.

I am having some female problems and need some advice please!?

I'm having the same problem no periods for month then it comes back and last for nearly 2 weeks and back again. I was given Provera ( not Depo provera, that's a birth control and the 2 are different) I don't think you need to worry about a hysterectomy till you can get a good dr. to figure this out and run tests. As for tests they can range from blood tests to ultrasound and another procedure (HSG) I think its called to look for blocked tubes, cysts, and fibroids by putting a balloon filled with dye into your uterus ( if this is done take a midol before the procedure it really hurts) This is about the best I can think of with what I am going through I can only wish you good luck.

I think he would play first base or pitcher. He has such long arms that no baseball could get ped him at first and with his strength and height he could probably throw pretty hard. okay so I have a female sugar glider (Bambi) and she had two of her babies a little while ago and they were ready to be sold. well the day someone bought the babies, i noticed that she seemed really sad and almost depressed and she wasnt acting the way she used to: running to the side of the cage for a meal worm, coming to the sound of my voice to greet me, etc. Instead she was sitting in the corner shaking and being anti-social. she NEVER does this and i was beginnning to wonder what was going on with her! so i callled a woman that handles these amazing sugar gliders on a daily basis and i asked her what was happening and she said to give her some yogurt and if she didnt leap for it then i need to consult a local exotic vet. anyways, Bambi leaped for the yogurt and is doing a little better. but my question is though, do female gliders get sad when their babies are taken from them?!? please help! the babies were my first ever and i have never seen Bambi act like this. shes slowly changing but im worried. is it normal for females to get sad when the babies are taken??!! They did however, do an operation on me last April, for a hernia when it turned out to be NO hernia. First of all you need to ask yourself if this person makes you happy. Second you need to remember that this will continue through out your entire relationship. It is extremely difficult to be in this kind of relationship because of all the ups and downs. The person with the illness isn't sure what they want and will even talk themselves out of what they want or what is good for them. If you are serious about this person suggest going to a counselor together, maybe between the two of you you can find the happiness and calm you are both seeking. These relationships can happen. Family Crisis? Is this fair? What Should I do?

URGGHHH, I feel like living with my friends family - which we are planning to do. Me and my friends family. Everything i told them about my family about being grounded for nothing and being screamed at when it aint even my fault and my sister getting treated like shes a princess and me like S*hit, yeah i think u get where im coming from :D. I get grounded for nothing and i retaliate when i get told off because i wanna show my mum and dad what they are doing to me which i aint done. I get blamed for mostly everything. I get grounded for the most stupidest things like inviting a friend round after school with out telling my mum, i mean like at school i invite them round straight after school. Even if it is homework to do. I get screamed at when i say like why are you screaming at me when i aint even done anything. My mum also has to be right. She always has to scream at least one person. My sister gets treated like an adult and gets quite a lot of things.............even though shes 16. Im 14 and my birthday is in 49 days and i am going to look for some stuff i really want now and i bet you they will say no you cant have it or no you dont need that or why do you want that or no you dont want that, when i really do. My sister would look for things and would literally beg my mum and dad to get it........and she dont get told off but if i did that i would. What should i do.

Why do you think everyone on welfare is lazy?

Agreed. And the bigger problem is the lack of education a lot of the people born into welfare are getting about how to live normal and productive lives apart from the system. All that they've seen in a check coming from the government. They aren't encouraged to get jobs in a lot of cases, until they turn 18. At that point, they've seen nothing but people working the system so that they never have to get a job! Their cousin working the fryer at McDonald's is the responsible one from their family that "made it". We need to spend the money on similar programs to the one that you write about having in Conn. If people know how to get jobs, and more importantly that they have to have a job, then they are more likely to not only get out of the system, but to be an example to those around them of how to get out of the system.

But you should call your doctor and make sure that everything is OK, and not take the word of someone on the internet.

My friend is reading a book that talks about a plague in Africa back in the 1800's or so. Apparently there was a missionary who was able to care for the sick people, but he never got sick even though everyone else did. My friend read about this guy and decided that his immunity was due to faith in god. My friend feels bad that he himself does not have enough faith to survive the plague. I can see the self-loathing in his eyes even. Is this a normal reaction?

What's a good, effective diet plan?

i have a wedding coming up in four or five months - not my wedding, but i'm in it- and i'm trying to get in shape and get the body i've wanted (and should have gotten years ago). i'm 24, 5'3"-ish and i currently weight around 136 lbs (134-137 if we're being technical). my doctor said my weight should be closer to 115, maybe a bit lower, for my body and frame size if i weren't to put on any muscle. (note: i know my weight is technically healthy, but i have joint problems that get worse when i get extra weight. extra muscle shouldn't be a problem and will help to stabilize and reinforce the problem joints). put another way, i want to lose about 20-25lbs of useless fat and put on a number of pounds of muscle. i'm trying to slim down, but also focus on toning up. i bought five workout videos which should arrive shortly :) and i plan on working out for about an hour to an hour and a half five or six times a week. it's mixed cardio and strengthening. what sort of diet plan should i follow? i've looked into a couple, but i can't decide which will help with weightloss, while still allowing me to be active and put on muscle. i need something a little more structured than 'eat healthy' and i have a fairly slow metabolism if that matters. i need a meal plan/eating schedule, too, if possible as i tend to wait too long and then eat too much or make poor food choices. i need structure ;) thanks so much for your help and i appreciate you taking the time to read the long post!

His wife walks in on the conversation, and they decide to all return to Benin, to see what they can do about the political and familial situation. One night at dinner, the Queen (who has known the truth all along but hasn't said anything), drugs the uncle's drink, and back in their quarters, the uncle confesses everything to the aunt (that he is really the twins' father, but never admitted it because he didn't want to admit, as a Christian man, that he had ever cheated on his wife). Starla overhears this, and goes to tell Soukyna, who is already fighting with her mother over the familial situation. The aunt storms off, and runs into the argument. The next day, the news has spread all over the palace, and the aunt cannot stand it anymore. She leaves the uncle, for the missionaries quarters, and returns to America when the other missionaries do. This leaves the uncle there, with the twins' mom, and since the news has gotten out, by Benin law, this makes him the new King. During this time, under everyone's noses, no-one has noticed that both twins have fallen in love. Starla to the first King (who she barely knew)s nephew, and Soukyna to a missionary who had happened to come with every time they were over there. This gives both of them the throne, but neither of them want it. After the weddings, the current Queen of Benin commits suicide, because she's gone crazy with all this going on around her, and since the aunt and uncle were never legally divorced, (and he is now the legal King of Benin), she inherits the throne (they have since made up somewhat, within the confines of planning their daughter's wedding). Converting a starter pistol to a real gun?

i own a few handguns already but some of the starter pistols i have seen onlne are soo much cheaper and look really nice. i want a gun just to around with at my hunting camp without risking some of my more expensive/powerful guns....and i like the revolver style .22 guns better for when im in the woods....the semi auto just seems too civilized. how hard would it be to convert a starter pistol to fire live rounds. i am an auto mechanic so im pretty good with my hands and power tools. im not concerned with legality because i live in a rural area and i only see the police about 3 times a year. thx for the replys

Why does my puppy puke every night?

somebody please help me....i am tired of finding out a solution to this problem...my 10 week old lab pup vomits every night..he makes 'uuukkkrrr uuukkkrrrk' sound and vomits...and no it is not bile..because he vomits food particles. the first night when i feed him by 7 in the evening, he started barfing and foaming (whitish liquid) around 2 in the night. So i thought it would be because of gastric problem and hence i started feeding me small but frequent meals every 2 hrs till 2 in the night....even that did not help....we got him checked for parvo which thankfully he doesnt have.....but has coccidia and is taking albon for it. he is absolutely fine in the mornings and extremely energetic (almost ready to conquer the world). My vet doesnt seem to have an answer....and the thing is even after puking he does not look lethargic or dull...he immediately gobbles down the vomit (before i can get a chance to clean it up) and pees and goes off to sleep. He does not have access to gr so its not that either...is it the food (dry kibble proplan), the meds (albon), some other stomach disorder or just normal?.......please if anybody knows an answer to this let me know or if anybody's pup also exhibites the same behaviour let me know..(will help me calm down)..i am realllly worried about him but i am helpless in terms of what to do..
