Would you read this (paragraph summary)?

This is one of the most solid "Will you read my idea?!" posts I've seen on here. You've got a ton of potential for gorgeous imagery, any number of directions you could take the themes, and characters in such a position that they almost demand to be fully flushed out. You might just have a bestseller on your hands if you play your cards right. In short, very much yes, I'd read it. No critiques, your plot is solid, and there's conflict right from the get-go that morphs as the story progresses. Well done.
