Tattoo and piercings at 14... what do you think?

ok so now on my way to being 16, 2 tattoo's and percings. Everyone says theylook beautil, im very mature and i thought through each one carefully. My tatto' are "never in old english in a music stave wrapping from my little toe to around my ankle ( i drew it and the tattoo artist copied it.. he offered me a job at the studio he said it was so good.. he didnt know my age) n black with red flowers a the ends, and newest is a black and red scorpion on my top central back well bellow the neck line, very lifelike (hurt like hell) but is my fathers favorite. He loves my tattoo's but doesnt like the idea of me having them. I have 7 piercings as well hovever with the exception of my ears, i am not allowed to pierce my face.. wierd huh! by the way, appart from one piercing, both parents were fully aware of me getting both the tattoos and the 6 piercings. I dont regret it at all, they are a part of me and reflect my life as all show some signifiicance to my life. I know there is a big controversy on the subject, but if the person is responsible and aware of the implications, should they be allowed to get a tattoo? Is it socially acceptable? Are the parents being responsible? just interested. Also, I drew my mothers first tattoo, a matching one to mine, on her lower back with "Never let go" written in a coca cola bottle font above a diamond with two winds either side of the diamond. Its beautiful. What do you think? Is it right or wrong?
